If all goes according to plan, we will be organizing a limited number of rehearsals this month at Blue Heron Park in Franklin. To prevent the spread of COVID-19, the following precautions are being taken:
- Rehearsal is to be held at an outdoor venue where we can assemble following established social distancing guidelines.
- Everyone in attendance must wear a mask at all times and will need to either obtain a specialized mask or modify one to allow for playing of a wind instrument. You may or may not choose to augment the mask with a MERV-13 material.
- Bells must have covers placed over them while in-play with a MERV-13 rated material to prevent aerosol transmission.
- Spit valves will need to be emptied into a towel or other absorbent material.
Also, it is understood that attending these rehearsals is completely optional. We will not penalize anyone for not attending if they do not feel it is safe enough to do so.
